River Fishing Trip – Spinning Gear
If kicking back in the driftboat, floating the river and catching fish is what you’re looking for then a half day on the Williamson River with a ROE guide is just the ticket. This slow moving spring creek is a great trout fishery for fly fishing but gear fisherman will love it too. Who doesn’t like going after BIG RAINBOWS!
River Fishing
We provide all of the gear and tackle and there’s no experience required. We’ll teach you all we can in hopes of luring in the rainbows that migrate up and down the Williamson. We practice catch and release on this river so if you’re hoping to keep fish our mountain lake fishing trips will be a great fit for you.

- 14 and older- Oregon Fishing Licenses are required. You can purchase at the ROE shop.

- Fly fishing trips we can provide rods and reels but do not supply terminal tackle.

What to Wear:
- Wear layers for cold mornings and warm days
- Dress for the weather – we fish rain snow or shine
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Waders are not necessary
CAN I KEEP THE FISH I CATCH?
We practice catch and release on the Williamson River. If you prefer to keep fish please check out our mountain lake fishing trips.
DO I NEED A FISHING LICENSE?
Anglers 14 and older must purchase an Oregon fishing license. A one day license is $16.75 and can be purchase at the ROE fly shop or online at http://www.dfw.state.or.us/online_license_sales/
