Fisherman will love Southern Oregon; it’s variety of opportunities and wide open spaces.   ROE has been leading fly fisherman in their pursuits in Southern Oregon for over 30 years and while we have a passion for fly fishing, we see the powerful impact that getting beginners out fishing can have on their love of the outdoors. We fly fish a lot but we also offer traditional gear trips for steelhead and salmon and if you’re looking to get the family out fishing, we learned a long time ago that there is something mighty wonderful that happens when the littlest fisherman lands their biggest fish. Whether your priority is landing the biggest wild trout of your life on your favorite 6wt fly rod or watching your granddaughter land a fish that earns you the biggest grin you’ve ever seen, then that’s our priority too.

Truly a trophy trout river the Williamson River is easily the finest river to fish for big native redband rainbows in the United States and has earned a healthy respect among fisherman around the world.

A true Spring Creek, the Wood River will challenge your presentation skills. A tributary to Agency Lake, which is connected to Klamath Lake, the Wood River is home to Brown Trout and migratory Redband Rainbows.

Famous for its native steelhead & trout fishing we guide fly fisherman on this legendary river March – December.  The Rogue River boasts healthy numbers of wild and hatchery steelhead, cutthroat trout and rainbow trout.

Affectionately known as “The Keno” is 6 ½ miles of exhilarating whitewater with fast pockets and smooth pools, holding numerous 17-19 inch rainbows with fish up to 24 inches.

Beautiful! But, Oh the fishing! Top water action is our primary focus for native redband rainbows. Fish are not as large as their upstream cousins but still have an 11 – 16 inch average with an occasional 20 incher.  Thirty fish days are common and 50 fish days are not unrealistic.

Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States, is home to rainbow trout and kokanee.  Fishing Oregon’s only National Park is a special experience.  Join us for fishing from the lakes Wizard Island.  Pure magic.

Family Friendly Fishing Trips

Fishing is a sport that families and friends can really enjoy together. It is a chance to celebrate each other’s successes and encourage each other on missed opportunities. River and Lake fishing in Southern Oregon is an excellent way to spend a day relaxing with a variety of ages with a variety of experience.  ROE guests can choose from trout fishing on lakes and spring creeks or steelhead and salmon fishing on the Rogue River.

Your guide will have all the gear & all the know-how. No experience is necessary! We welcome your young fishermen! Fishing from our boat on a beautiful high mountain lake you’ll seek trout or kokanee.

Floating the river in search of trout is a definite option here in Southern Oregon. ROE guides man the oars, handle the gear and talk you through where and when to cast.  Fighting the fish is up to you – with your guide coaching you along of course!

Crater Lake National Park is known for its iconic deep blue water, majestic Wizard Island and a volcanic legacy rich with physical and cultural history. Visitors come from around the world to explore its beautiful landscape. ROE will help you explore it and FISH IT!

Salmon and Steelhead

The Rogue River is legendary for salmon and steelhead fishing.  While we spend a lot of time fly fishing with our guests, ROE is happy to offer gear fishing with spinning reel rods for both salmon and steelhead for fisherman wanting to get out on the water and perhaps take home a hatchery fish at the end of the day. We supply all of the terminal tackle for gear trips and are happy to teach you the techniques of either side drifting, pulling plugs or bouncing roe for an opportunity at a salmon or steelhead.

This is great sport fishing and a day on the river is sure to be fun, challenging and beautiful. We hope you’ll join us for a trip soon.

The Legendary Rogue River is where the action unfolds for Chinook Salmon fishing with ROE. Made famous by well known adventurer and author Zane Grey, the Rogue River continues to inspire fisherman with its fantastic spring and fall fishing.

Steelhead fishing on the Rogue River is some of the finest steelhead fishing found in the Nation. In both summer and winter a steelhead fisherman can find an opportunity to pursue this fierce fighting fish here in Oregon.

Crater Lake Zipline

Crater Lake Zipline is Oregon’s premier zipline canopy tour.  Overlooking Upper Klamath Lake and with fantastic views of Mt. McLoughlin and Pelican Butte this 9 zip course is a favorite among Southern Oregon Visitors.  Just 30 minutes south of Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake Zipline is a guided tour and takes about three hours to complete the 9 ziplines, ( a mile and a half of cable) 2 sky bridges and 2 rappels.  541-892-9477
